This course was designed to take teachers at a “learner” level on an introductory journey through Moodle, an open-source Learning Management System (LMS) that makes online learning possible, practical, and powerful. Participants will learn the basics of navigation and understand the Moodle environment, accounts, content and course creation. Participants will end with an understanding of online lear ning and a foundation for moving around in Moodle.
This course was designed to take participants through the advanced features of Moodle, like glossaries, directories, databases and more. Students will leave with advanced skills with Moodle features, an understanding of their creative applications, and ideas and inspiration for advanced content creation.
This course was designed to take teachers to a “creator” level in Moodle. Participants will start with a short review of the basics, then create their own course and explore adding content, links, sideblocks, images, and more. Students will be introduced to HTML, formatting and appearance, uploading of files and linking, and ideas for dynamic content. Participants will end with a solid understanding of course creation and the ability to build their own basic Moodle course.
